Ansedonia, one of the most exclusive seaside resorts in Italy, has two renowned beaches: Feniglia and Tagliata. Both offer miles of sandy coastline; rental of umbrellas and sunbeds; bars and restaurants. They can be reached on foot, by car or with a public shuttle that operates in July and August and stops one minute from the villa. The rocky coast of the headland, with small bays, crevices and caves, is well worth exploring by renting a boat or paddle board.
By car, some historic places in the Maremma are easily reachable: Orbetello, 15 minutes away, is the place where the closest supermarkets are. To buy fruit, vegetables and other Maremma specialties, there are farms such as La Parrina not far away.
Then there is Capalbio 20 minutes away and many other places, such as Porto Ercole, Porto Santo Stefano, Saturnia, Sorano, Sovana, Manciano, Magliano, Pitigliano and many others, reachable with journeys of about half an hour to an hour and a half by car.
